Welcome to Ridge Kids Playcare
A safe, caring environment where every child’s only job is to learn, grow, and discover through the power of play.
Who we are!
What we do!
Our mission is to provide the families in our community with quality affordable childcare while meeting the needs of each child through developmentally appropriate play experiences in a supportive, inclusive & nurturing environment.

Our philosophy is to always provide the best quality childcare so that children can learn through playing while making sense of the world around them. To also provide a safe, child centered environment for children to be themselves while learning and developing. We know that the first few years of a child's life is crucial in setting the foundation for future learning and social skills. We believe that children are naturally curious and eager to learn, with this in mind, we strive to provide a nurturing environment based on the children's interests and abilities but via learning through play atmosphere. To ensure the best and most broad learning through play experience we implement various aspects of the childcare theories and curriculums that are Montessori, Flight, Emilia Reggio and Waldorf.

It is important to us that we are creating a space that families and educators who attend our facility feel supported and valued. Creating a cohesive environment is important when raising children, we believe that it takes a village and we want to be that kind, caring village. Building strong relationships between educators and families is vital in supporting the children.

Stacy Ringrose started Ridge Kids Playcare started in May of 2023, in a little home in Whispering Ridge, purchased entirely for the dayhome use. The little dayhome stemmed from a surprise pregnancy and like most moms, I was not prepared for or comfortable with trusting anyone to provide the greatest care possible so, I created it-not just for myself but for the moms like me! On the inside, I can be a bit of child as well and eventually, felt we were outgrowing the space and needed more room to run and be free. I always had my eyes on the big green building and seen it's potential, one evening my husband and I were driving home and I noticed a 'For Sale' sign on it and in that moment, I decided it's time to create that village we all need. January 20th, 2025 became a licensed daycare facility in the big green building. We had some bumps along the way but since added a fire alarm system, another bathroom, lots of fencing and renovations...but we are finally at our initial capacity of 60 children in 4 classrooms and we are having a blast.
