Welcome to our Preschool Classroom
Up to 20 children, 4+ years of age, participate in this classroom building a bridge between daycare and Kindergarten. We focus toward independence, complex social play and foundational academic skills but also, kindness, empathy and inclusion too! The learning centers are designed into zones that encourage child-led exploration through dramatic play, construction/blocks, literacy & writing, science & nature, math/manipulatives and art. Our children have a predictable structure, that prepares them for a smoother transition into Kindergarten, building confidence and positive self-esteem while learning to be active learners too.
Welcome to our PRE-Preschool Classroom
Up to 16 children, ages 3-4 years, where they are transitioning from toddlers to the little early learners community. We focus on fostering self-regulation, curiosity and the joy of discovery in an environment designed to balance active play with gentle structure. The learning centers are designed into zones that are tactile and sensory-rich in dramatic play, construction/blocks, literacy & writing, science & nature, math/manipulatives and art. Our children have a nurturing structure, with visual routines that helps children feel secure and in control of their transitions but focus on play-based academics.
Welcome to our Toddler Classroom
Up to 12 children, ages 2-3 years, where they are discovering who they are as little people. We focus on the 'academics' in the world around us-from counting stairs to learning words to express needs and everything in between. The learning centers are designed into zones that focus entirely on sensory first in dramatic play, construction/blocks, science & nature, manipulatives and art. Our children have a rhythm of care routine, with the gentle transitions like "clean up songs" to help them feel safe and confident in their own environment.
Welcome to our Pre-Toddler Classroom
Up to 12 children, ages 12-24 months, where they are beginning their first journey away from home! We focus on secure attachment, sensory wonder and milestones of movement as they begin to explore the world around them. The learning centers are designed as 'safe to explore' that prioritizes sensory-rich floor based discovery in dramatic play, construction/blocks, science & nature, manipulatives and art. Our children have a individualize rhythm of care, where we honor each baby's unique journey with eating, sleeping and playing through the most gentle, predictable rituals, like sound machines and darker room for quiet time. The focus is ensuring each child feels emotionally secure and cared for.
